AAU State Qualifier this Weekend

2010 A.A.U State Tournament
Schedule and Staging Times

Friday April 23 rd – Early athlete check in/Weigh in/ Event ticket sales and on
Site Registration will be: 5:30 p.m – 8:30 p.m.
At POLK STATE COLLEGE (state Venue)
Officials Certification 6:00 –9:00 p.m. ( Official State Hotel)


Saturday April 24 th- Doors open at 8:00 a.m. at Polk state College
Pre –Registered athlete credentials pick up/weigh INS
8:00 am - 5:00 p.m .You must check in/weigh in before your
Posted staging time. No on site registration Saturday

Registration: online Before April 22 $ 69.00 for 2 events www.tourneyreg.net
Friday night on site registration $ 84.00
Saturday on site registration – NONE (pre- registered only)
Coaches floor pass $ 20.00 (must be current 2010 AAU coach)
Can purchase Pass Friday or Saturday if currently certified.

Coaches: You must fill out the coach’s application for the tournament.
You must be 2010 certified at www.aautaekwondo.org if you haven’t
Already been certified this year (2010). You must get certified before
The event online! NO coach’s clinics certification at the event.
Proper Coaches Attire for Saturday is Mandatory. Failure to pass the
Online coach’s course will prevent you from coaching at the event.
You must present your 2010 AAU membership card and 2010 Coaches
Certification card. Must wear AAU coaches shirt, Dobok
Pants or warm up pants, shoes. NO blue Jeans/Dockers


Officials: New officials clinic Friday 6:00- 9:00 p.m. You must fill out the
Tournament official’s Application. Please indicate if you plan to center
Or corner judge. You must have your A.A.U. card with you.
Proper Attire is Mandatory. (White shirt, red tie, black slacks)
Official’s clinic is Friday at the State hotel.


Athletes: You must be pre-registered before Saturday April 24, 2010. You
Can pick up your ID badges/Weigh in on Friday 5:30 – 8:30 p.m.
Or on Saturday 8:00 am – 5:00 p.m. (before your staging time)
Proper Gear and uniforms are required. Please see staging times!!

Volunteers: Please fill out the volunteer’s information sheet. Volunteers
Needed to help run the computers, Scorekeepers, medal
Runners, registration and to help in staging.
Free admission, Lunch and t-shirt for all volunteers


2010 Tae Kwon Do
Staging times

Please arrive to staging when called; No division will start until the posted time ,unless we are running ahead of schedule, be at the venue, checked in ready to go 60 minutes before posted staging time ! First division will not start until 9:30 a.m. Please bring your sparring gear to staging. All times are approximate. Late arrivals and no shows may/will be disqualified from competition. You will do forms and right into sparring. Please arrive at the event 60 minutes before posted staging times to check in /weigh in. Example- if you are in the Men And Women Senior & Executive colored belts forms & Sparring divisions and are pre registered you don’t have to arrive at the event until 4:45 p.m. This will give you time to check in/weigh in and get warmed up. (No onsite registrations on Saturday.) Weigh in and check in will close at 5:00 p.m. Saturday. We will use a LCD projector and screen to keep you informed of staging times.

9:00 a.m. – Officials Meeting

9:25 a.m. - Opening Ceremonies

9:30 a.m. - 10:15 p.m. – All 14-17, 18 and up Female Black Belt
Sparring and forms.
10:15 a.m – 11:15 a.m - All 14-17, 18 and up male Black Belt
Sparring and forms.
11:15 a.m – 11:45 a.m – All 13 and under female Black belt forms
And sparring
11:45 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. - All 13 and under male Black belt forms
And sparring
12:45 p.m.– 2:15 p.m. – Girls 5,6,7,8,9 all colored belts Forms & Sparring
2:15 p.m.– 3:45 p.m. - Boys 5,6,7,8,9 all colored belts Forms & Sparring
3:45 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. –Girls 10,11,12,13 All colored belts Forms & Sparring
5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. - Boys 10,11,12,13 All colored belts Forms & Sparring
6:00 – 6:45p.m. - Boys & Girls 14,15,16,17 All Colored Belts Forms &

Rules: All A.A.U. As documented in the 2010 AAU rule Book shall apply. All coaches and athletes must be current 2010 AAU members. Weight/Belt Divisions and or age groups may be combined to insure competition.
