US Open in Orlando July 9 - 10, 2010
Spectators Information:
Each year, the US OPEN World Championships weekend presents an experience unique to the martial arts. The location itself is in the heart of Disney World and sets the stage for a fun and magical weekend of thrilling competition and activities for everyone. As always, the US OPEN will bring together the world's very best competitors, teams, coaches, spectators, and officials for a weekend of inspiring performances and the most memorable of good times.
YOU'LL WITNESS WORLD CLASS COMPETITION SUCH AS: Musical Weapons Forms, Creative Weapons Forms, Extreme Weapons Forms, Traditional Weapons Forms, Musical Empty Hand Forms, Creative Empty Hand Forms, Extreme Empty Hand Forms, Traditional Empty Hand Forms, Team Synchronized Forms, Team Pairs Forms, Demonstration Team, Self Defense, Individual Point & Continuous Fighting, Team Point & Continuous Fighting and Sport Ju Jitsu fighting!

The finest martial arts competitors in history have graced the Night of Champion's stage, and in 2010, worldwide ESPN coverage will again bring these unmatched performances to viewers in countries all around the globe. You won't want to miss this once-a-year showcase of the most incredible talent ever assembled on a single stage!
THE ISKA WORLD BREAKING CHAMPIONSHIPS! If you've seen it before, it needs no introduction! The most awesome martial arts event moves into 2010 with more excitement than ever! Again to be broadcast worldwide on the ESPN Total Sports Networks, this year's competition promises to bring even more excitement, and to renew some major rivalries!
US OPEN Spectator Seating
All seating for the Friday and Saturday's Eliminations are General Admission. A Free Event Program will be available which will indicate what ring each division will be held in. There will be several rows of seating surrounding each and every competition ring. Those seats are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. All spectator passes provide admission to Saturday night's spectacular "Night of Champions". Most people prefer to purchase a "Reserved Seat" for the Night of Champions (this can be done for as little as $5.00 more!). These reserved seat passes include general admission to all other US OPEN competition events (see spectator pass prices below).
Important Information About Purchasing US OPEN Spectator Passes
If you are competing in the US OPEN, you do not need to purchase a spectator pass. However, you may choose to "upgrade" your complimentary "Night of Champions" General Admission Pass to a Reserved Seat simply by paying the difference. This can be easily accomplished through on-line competitor registration.
If you will be attending the US OPEN and wish to purchase SPECTATOR PASSES only (no one in your family or travel group will be competing), simply select the "SPECTATORS" link on the Registration page.
If you will be attending the US OPEN with someone who will be competing, you should purchase your spectator passes on-line at the same time. Ordering your spectator passes in this way will result in having your spectator passes available in the same package as the competitor materials when you arrive for the event.
If you will be purchasing Reserved Seat Passes for the spectacular "Night of Champions" and will be traveling with someone who is competing, please be sure to "upgrade" the competitors complimentary general admission pass to the same level of reserved seat that you will have so that you may all sit together (If the Competitor Registration, Reserved Seat Passes and Competitor Seating Upgrade is all done at the same time through on-line Competitor Registration, all of the reserved seats for the Night of Champions will be together).

Warrior Invitational Tournament Spectacular

City/Town: Leesburg, FL
Events to include: Traditional Weapons, Traditional Forms, Point-Sparring and Continuous Sparring. All ages, ranks, and styles with over 120 divisions!
On Friday night: seminars from Kyoshi Bob Elder (Japanese Sword), Grandmaster Richard Hackworth (Hapkido), and Grandmaster Arnaldo Lugo (Combat Karate/Mixed Martial Arts).
On Saturday: all events. All events and seminars are included in your registration fee. Pre-registration ends January 25, 2010!
Age/Experience divisions will be as follows:
5 & Under All Ranks
6-8 Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced
9-11 Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced
12-14 Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced
15-17 Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, BB
18-34 Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, BB
35+ Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, BB
Point-Sparring will be single elimination, first to 5 points (one point for every technique) with a two-minute time limit per match. Face shield and chest protector are OPTIONAL for point-sparring. Continuous-Sparring will consist of one 2-minute round with scoring as follows: 1 point for all hand techniques, 2 points for all kicks to the body, 3 points for all kicks to the head. Face shield is mandatory for continuous-sparring in all 17 and under divisions. Chest protectors are optional.

Warrior Invitational Tournament
The Warrior Invitational Tournament Series (WITS) is the tournament organization hosted by Trio Martial Arts Academy and Sensei Bret Gordon. The Series was kicked off in August 2009 with the Warrior Invitational Kumite Challenge, a Point-Fighting only tournament. Thrown as a trial event, Sensei Gordon plans to expand the WITS organization to eventually host numerous events throughout the year. The next WITS events scheduled are the Tournament Spectacular and the Battle of the WITS. The Tournament Spectacular will be a two-day event with three seminars and a full line of events to include Traditional Weapons, Traditional Katas, Point-Fighting and Continuous Fighting. Competitors who compete in both tournaments and place in the top bracket will be crowned Series Champion. For more information about the WITS events, please contact

Florida Breaking Championships, Port Orange, Florida
The 2009 State Board Breaking Championship will be held on May 30th in Port Orange, FL. This event will be at the same venue as Master Creech's TKD Tournament. The schedule of events will not conflict so competitors can do both competitions if they choose.
Objective scoring method will be used for fair and exact judging!
Divisions for color belts and black belts of all ages!
